Wisconsin police looking for convicted felon after several kids are found dead

Wisconsin authorities are looking for a convicted felon after two children and an adult were discovered dead.

The New Lisbon Police Department reported that a child went missing Sunday night and was last seen with Virgil G. Thew, 47.

On Monday morning, police discovered that another child was missing.

A few hours later, officials reported that two children and an adult had been found dead inside a home on West Bridge Street.

It’s unclear whether the two children found were the ones reported missing.

The Wisconsin State Crime Lab, the Juneau County Sheriff’s Office, and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department investigated the home.

Police have identified Thew as a person of interest. He is wanted by Wisconsin Probation and Parol, and should be considered “armed and dangerous.”

According to his parole records, he is currently under active community supervision. Thew has been convicted of twelve felonies, including felony gun possession, burglary, and theft.

According to records, he has been in and out of jail nearly every year since 1995 and was granted parole in 2012.

“If seen, do not confront or approach him,” officials said in a statement.

Thew stands 5-foot-10 and weighs 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored down coat, blue jeans, and a hat.

The Juneau County Sheriff’s Office informed Fox News Digital Tuesday afternoon that it will not make any statements regarding the case.
