Authorities say a man died after falling from the roof of a two-story residence on Long Island.
The event happened on Maple Avenue in Lynbrook on Saturday, November 30.
According to Nassau County Police, the 47-year-old male lost his footing while working on the roof and fell to the ground, suffering significant head injuries.
The victim, whose identity and address have not been revealed, was transferred to a local hospital and pronounced dead by a doctor.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has been contacted, and the investigation continues.
