JOPLIN, Missouri — A heavily frequented crossroads between Joplin and Webb City is set to close for several months.
It is the intersection of East Zora Street and North Duquesne Road, which changes into South Hall Street as you head north.
It will be blocked to all traffic beginning Monday for the erection of a roundabout.
Detour routes will be posted.
The closure will be in effect until the project is completed, which is expected to be sometime before spring.
The renovation is supported by the “Capital Improvement Sales Tax” that voters passed in 2014.
