Just before 2:45 p.m. Thursday, reports surfaced that a UPS box truck on state Routes N and W Dade 183 had overturned into the North Fork Spring River, alerting Dade County E-911. The driver was not injured, but was examined by EMS.

A daring feline found itself perched atop a power pole outside Pittsburg State University’s natural history reserve, necessitating a quick rescue by an Every employee. Thanks to the employee’s efforts, the adventurous cat was safely brought down and is now receiving warmth and affection from students.
