Lawrence County, Missouri — An Aurora woman has been accused for allegedly threatening two children with a knife and biting a police officer while being arrested.
According to online court filings, Brittany K. Gould faces seven accusations, including:
- Second-degree assault (felony)
- Third-degree assault (felony)
- Unlawful use of a weapon (felony)
- Two counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child (misdemeanor)
- Resisting arrest (misdemeanor)
- Fourth-degree domestic assault (misdemeanor)
Officers from the Aurora Marionville Police Department (AMPD) arrived about 10:18 p.m. on Nov. 28 to complaints that Gould was threatening the residents of the property she was in.
According to AMPD’s probable cause statement, Gould threatened two juveniles and two other people in the residence with a large kitchen knife.
When cops attempted to take Gould into custody, documents state that she bit one officer and damaged skin during the scuffle, despite knowing she had hepatitis C. Gould also attempted to bite and threatened another officer, claiming she would break his nose and “f*** her up.”
Gould is currently detained in the Lawrence County Jail without bond.
