For disabled workers in the United States, SSDI and SSI are likely the most important Federal and Social Security services. SSA has very strict rules about what a handicap must be in order to get one of them.
Plus, there are extra rules that depend on the aid you’re applying for. SSS has stated that people who are eligible for SSI will be the first disability recipients to get a check or direct deposit.
SSI and SSDI payment dates for October
People who get SSI will get a new payment from the Federal Government on October 1. When you get your next Supplemental Security Income check or direct payment, here are some things to keep in mind:

- Same payday for all recipients
- Report a missing payment after three mailing days to SSA

- Remaining eligible is mandatory
The 2025 COLA will not be added to the SSI payout until December 31, 2024. For those who are qualified, the most they can get is $943 for an individual and $1,415 for a married couple. People who are needed can get up to $472. On October 3, 9, 16, and 23, SSDI payments will be sent. Here are more specifics about them.
