From October 1, 2024, to October 28, 2024, people will get money from the USDA. These are the dates that people in all 50 states and the District of Columbia who are qualified will get their money. Food Stamps are also sent to Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands during this payment time.
You will get $292 if you are eligible for the most SNAP benefits for one person. Because the COLA went up, there will be an extra dollar every month. It’s better than the cut in Hawaii, even if it’s not much.

SNAP update regarding ABAWD and 2025 COLA amounts
You shouldn’t just worry about how much money you can get from SNAP. In order to get Food Stamps for more than three months in a row, people aged 18 to 54 will have to work at least 80 hours a month.
If you don’t follow these steps, you could lose your SNAP payments in three months. People aged 53 to 54 should pay extra attention to this because this rule will affect them in October.
The Able-Body Adult Without Dependent is what ABAWD stands for. That is, you have to follow these rules unless you have a child or get an exemption. See below for the highest amounts after COLA:
How many people can live in a house and the most that can live in it in the 48 contiguous states and DC
1: $292
2: $536
3: $768
4: $975
5: $1,158
6: $1,390
7: $1,536
8: $1,756
