HARRISBURG, Pennsylvania (Associated Press) – It is Vice President Kamala Harris’s intention to interact with Polish American voters through a new program that she is promoting.
It is a crucial community that has transitioned between Democrats and Republicans over the course of the years, and it is centered in states that are considered to be battlegrounds, such as Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
She is hoping that her team would be able to capitalize on Donald Trump’s hesitation to support Ukraine during the debate that took place last week.
In addition, Trump is attempting to win over Polish American voters by paying a visit to a shrine on Sunday, which is also the day that Polish President Andrzej Duda will be there.
Despite the fact that Polish Americans do not constitute a particularly large group, a significant number of them reside in the states of Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania, which are considered to be parts of the “blue wall” and are essential to the election of either candidate.
This week, Harris will be traveling to all three visits.
