After she failed to show up for work on Wednesday morning, a lady was discovered dead inside of a residence in Bangor, according to the Bangor police department.
Just after nine o’clock in the morning, the police were informed of a possible death that occurred at a residence located on Larkin Street.
Police Sergeant Jason McAmbley of the Bangor Police Department stated in a press statement that a colleague went to the residence of the woman after she failed to show up for work on Wednesday morning.
The body of a woman was discovered by the police at the residence. It was reported by McAmbley that detectives and evidence techs were still there at the scene as of Wednesday afternoon. They were conducting interviews with witnesses and beginning an investigation.
According to McAmbley, the body of the woman, whose name has not been made public, was sent to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta for the purpose of undergoing a post-mortem examination.
