Spirit of the St. Croix Art Festival
Time: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Sunday

Cost: Free admission
The Phipps Center for the Arts and the Hudson Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Bureau are putting on the Spirit of the St. Croix Art Festival every year. There will be 80 juried artists, hands-on demonstrations, live music, creative games, and fall foods at the two-day event.
Art Supply Swap
Time: 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Do you want to give away art tools or get more for yourself? For that reason, the River Falls Public Library and the River Falls Community Arts Base will hold an art swap. By Thursday, September 26, you can sign up to bring personal items to trade.
Oktoberfest at Post 121
Time: 2-9 p.m.
Date: Saturday, Sept. 28
Location: American Legion Post 121, 701 North Main Street, Hudson
Cost: Free admission
Post 121, Auxiliary Unit 121, and the River Falls and Hudson Lion Clubs are having an Oktoberfest party with German food, live music, a silent sale, and a bean bag tournament. A social services group called Have a Heart helps adults with disabilities. The money raised from the tournament and auction will go to supporting them.
Rhythm by the River Marching Band Festival
Time: 6 p.m.
Date: Saturday, Sept. 28
Location: Hudson High School Raider Stadium, 1501 Vine Street, Hudson
Cost: Admission cost
The Hudson and River Falls Marching Bands will hold their yearly competition for marching bands. Twelve bands from Wisconsin and Minnesota will be there.
Stand-Up Junior
Time: 2 p.m.
Date: Sunday, Sept. 29
Location: Phipps Center for the Arts, Black Box Theater, 109 Locust Street, Hudson.
Cost: $15
Want to show how funny you are? The Phipps are putting on Stand-Up Junior again, which is a stand-up comedy show for kids and their families. Also, kids are allowed to bring a joke to share with the group.
