Perhaps you are a Social Security user and will not receive your monthly payment on November 27. This could be because you already received a check or direct transfer on November 1, 13, or 20. Don’t worry, payments are expected to be made on schedule. If you qualify for the November 27 paycheck, please contact your bank if you do not get your money on that date.

Social Security amounts after Nov. 27 and details about the last payday

Since the Agency last updated the average payments for retired workers in November, and the amount was for October, checks are projected to be slightly higher on average next month.

That is supported by the COLA fact sheet, which shows that the average amount before the COLA rise will be around $1,927. The maximum payout for December will be $4,873.

The final payout date for retirees in December will not fall on a Wednesday. This is because December 25 is a federal holiday, and checks will be issued on the day before, December 24.
