Wabasha pastor asked to resign after allegedly asking parishioners for gifts and loans

Here is a transmission that is coming from ABC 6: An announcement has been made that a priest who has been serving as a minister in the Wabasha region of the Diocese of Winona-Rochester will be leaving from his position.

As a consequence of the claims that he solicited financial assistance from members of the church in the form of grants and loans, this is the result of those allegations.

Reportedly, after the Diocese discovered that Father Prince Raja was soliciting financial aid, they advised him to stop doing so and to stop soliciting financial support.

The purpose of this action was to make a recommendation that he stop soliciting the donations.

According to the Diocese, on the other hand, he did not cease collecting contributions, which is the reason why they ordered him to quit his role so that they could continue with their business.

This was done so that they could move on with their operations.

In addition to this, they say that Father Prince did not take any money from the parish, and they have stated that they are working along with the local law enforcement community in order to move forward with the procedures for his departure.
