The United States Marshals Service in Maine announced the capture of three Massachusetts fugitives over the course of two days in Madison and Skowhegan, Maine.
On October 24, a juvenile wanted for multiple firearms crimes in Bristol County, Massachusetts Superior Court was apprehended during a traffic check near Madison, Maine.
The suspect was wanted for carrying a loaded firearm without a license, assault and battery with a firearm, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building, vandalism, and malicious damage to a motor vehicle.
During the arrest, the USMS seized a weapon and an alleged quantity of drugs.
The following morning, on October 25, the US Marshal Task Force apprehended two more fugitives who were also passengers in the same automobile that had been stopped in Skowhegan, Maine.
Kvon Brooks, 18, was wanted in Fall River, Massachusetts District Court for attempted murder, strangling or suffocation, assault and battery on a family or household member, assault and battery on a pregnant victim, and vandalism.
The other fugitive, a juvenile, had outstanding warrants from Bristol County, Massachusetts Superior Court for carrying a loaded firearm without a license, possessing ammunition without a FID card, possessing a large capacity firearm, and trespassing.
According to the USMS, all three suspects were apprehended without resistance and booked as fugitives from justice.
