Disability benefits do not end in November. In actuality, there are three SSDI payments remaining on Social Security. Furthermore, if you do not receive Social Security Disability Insurance payments, your Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits will not end in November. On November 29, the Administration arranged the payment for December.
In fact, the next SSDI won’t arrive this week. Therefore, qualified recipients will have to wait until next week. For your information, only individuals who meet the birthday criteria will get their Social Security checks in November.
Payments for SSDI on Wednesdays
Social Security Disability Insurance payments will be next issued on November 13. This payday will be for those Americans with a disability who:
- Got approval from Social Security after April 30, 1997
- Are not eligible for SSI
- Were born before the 11th of any month
The Administration will then dole out disability compensation on November 20 and 27. The qualifications to receive money for the last two SSDI installments in November are similar. What is different is the birth date that you must have.
- Those born from 11-20 (payment on November 20) and from 21-31 (payment on November 27)
SSDI payment amounts in November before the 2025 COLA
Because the 2025 COLA rise does not take effect for Disability Insurance claimants until January 3, the maximum and average payments will not change on November 13, 20, or 27.
As of September 2024, SSDI recipients can expect to receive an average of $1,539. Spouses of disabled workers can also receive a monthly payout of approximately $421, as can qualifying disabled children.
The maximum SSDI payout will be up to $3,822, with a COLA increase of about $4,018 in 2025. To receive this much money, you must have earned the contribution and benefit base for 35 years in jobs that paid adequate taxes to the Social Security Administration. Filing as late as the SSA allows is also essential.
