Newton County, Missouri – Around 8:15 a.m. on Monday, a single vehicle crash was reported near (1) Gateway Drive and Foliage Road. A vehicle veered off the road and collided with a tree.
Redings Mill Fire Department, Newton County Ambulance, and Newton County Deputies all responded. Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified.
While responding to that incident, a Newton County Ambulance crashed close (2) Gateway Drive and Hereford Road.
While those two collisions were being dealt to, another two-vehicle crash occurred near (3) Gateway Drive and Hunter Lane.
Four persons were sent to surrounding hospitals after the series of incidents, all with non-life-threatening injuries.
Around 9:30 a.m., the roadway was cleaned of damaged vehicles and debris.
There is no crash report filed on the first crash near Foliage on Gateway Drive, single vehicle crashes with no injuries or property damage are not investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
