Police identify the lady died after a cab jumped the curb in Queens.

Queens, New York – Police identified the woman killed by a curb-jumping taxi as a 51-year-old Long Island resident.

Vidya Dookran-Franco of Merrick died Saturday around 3:11 a.m. when a cab collided with another car, sending it onto the sidewalk near 115th Avenue and Lefferts Boulevard, according to police.

The cab collided with three pedestrians, including Dookran-Franco, a 49-year-old man, and a 44-year-old man, police said. Dookran-Franco was pronounced dead at an area hospital, while the two men were treated for minor injuries.

Police have made no arrests in connection with the crash.
