Jasper County, Missouri — Around 9 a.m. on Christmas morning, E – 911 received reports of a rollover incident on Fir Road near Joplin Street on the south side of Carl Junction, Missouri.
Carl Junction Fire, METS, and Jasper County Deputies responded. Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified.
On the scene, we learn of a single car crash. The driver was heading east on Fir Road, left the highway to the left, overcorrected, and then left the road to the right. Struck a culvert and overturned.
The adult female driver was trapped until CJ firefighters could extract her from the wreckage.
She was transported non-emergency by METS to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The weather was cloudy, with fog in low-lying areas, and the roadway was dry and 42 degrees.
