According to the New York Police Department, a 14-year-old child was stabbed in the head while riding an MTA bus in the Bronx Friday afternoon.
The incident occurred at approximately 4:30 p.m. aboard an MTA Bx8 bus near East Gun Hill Road and Bronxwood Avenue.
Police said an unknown person approached the youngster and stabbed him on the left side of his head with a cutting object before leaving on foot.
EMS transported the youngster to a local hospital in stable condition.
The NYPD is seeking for the man involved and has released CCTV footage of him.
