According to a press release, a long-running Branson attraction will debut a new comedy show in March.
Shepherd of the Hills’ new comedy performance, “Branson Comedy Bash,” is inspired by 1960s and 1970s television variety shows and include stand-up, sketch comedy, music, and magic acts.
The Playhouse Theatre, located at 5585 W. 76 Country Blvd., will host the performance from March 4 to October 31.
The “Branson Comedy Bash” is a 90-minute dinner performance that includes comedy magician Mike Bliss, comic and variety artist Blake Walker, stand-up comedian Joey Aiello, actress Dalena Ditto, comic actors Dan and Dana Embree, and songsmith Justin Sifford. Shannon Thomason will host the show as AppleJack.
“This bash has the cream of the crop of veteran comedians,” said Jae McFerron, writer and director of “Branson Comedy Bash.” “In all, 12 of Branson’s most experienced and sought after comedic professionals will be featured over the course of the season.”
