New $973 SNAP check for 4-member families on Food Stamps coming soon: Discover when your money is due

As of now, 39 states are still sending SNAP payments, which used to be called Food Stamps. If you get money from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, you may still get your monthly payment even if you don’t have four people living with you.

In some states, the money has already been sent to EBT cards. People who get SNAP benefits and haven’t gotten their Food Stamp check yet can look at the list of payouts that are coming up.

Maximum SNAP amounts for families of 4

If you live in one of the 48 contiguous states or the District of Columbia, your family can get up to $973. You might get a lot less, though, if you don’t qualify for the biggest payment.

That being said, the CBPP says that a family of four can get around $713. Families with more than eight children can get up to $1,751 in aid. Check the USDA page if you need to know the exact date of payment.

The monthly issuance website will show you when you can get your SNAP benefit payment: https://www.fns.usda.gov/snap/monthly-issuance-schedule. Apply for Food Stamps now if you need extra money to buy food and avoid food insecurity.
