Saturday, September 21 was the day that the Colour Dash fundraising event was held by the Mt. Vernon High School Cheerleading team.
A total of 94 people registered for this year’s event with 83 participating in the 5K race.
For the purpose of paying for competition costs and choreography, the event was able to raise a total of $5,350 through the submission of entries and the sponsorship of various businesses.
Top three finishers were:
- Ty Hazelton – First Place
- Greg Wilke – Second Place
- Bentley Russell – Third Place
