With a score of 13–5, the varsity boys’ water polo team beat Fremont High School, putting in a strong showing on September 24.
The first quarter was close, but Mountain View took over in the second and was ahead 6-3 at halfway. During the whole game, both the Spartans’ defense and attack were strong. Sophomore Austin Conover, who scored five goals, especially stood out.
Senior players Jaz Livnat and Yannis Mihopoulos pointed out things that needed work, especially when it came to conversation and passing. Even though the team won, efforts to improve their future plans were emphasized.
