Motorcyclist killed when car pulled out in front of them

The county of CEDAR in Iowa — At a crossroads in southern Cedar County, a car pulled out in front of a motorcycle, causing the person who was riding the motorcycle to lose their life.

 

The incident took place on Saturday morning, shortly after eleven o’clock, near the intersection of Taylor Avenue and 325 Street in Cedar County, which is located just northeast of Wilton.

 

According to the Iowa State Patrol, the vehicle disregarded the traffic control devices and drove into Taylor, putting it directly in the path of the motorbike that was approaching.

 

A collision occurred between the motorcycle and the passenger side of the vehicle. Both of the drivers that were involved have not had their names made public thus far.

 

Even though the driver of the car had injuries, their condition is not being disclosed at this time.
