Missouri to Be Impacted By a Hurricane at the End of the Week?

Missouri to Be Impacted By a Hurricane at the End of the Week (1)

Here’s a fact that seems hard to believe. By the end of the week, there’s a good chance that a storm will hit Missouri, but everything will be okay.

As of this writing, there is a new tropical cyclone system in the Gulf of Mexico. It is called “Tropical Cyclone Six,” which is a good name for it.

It looks like the National Hurricane Center at NOAA has some interesting ideas about what this tropical storm system will turn into.

Our friends at NOAA say that this will turn into a tropical storm on Monday as it moves into the Gulf of Mexico.

The storm should get stronger until it becomes a hurricane by Wednesday morning, before it gets to Texas. Storm Francine will hit if that happens. That’s when this storm gets interesting.

Right now, the forecast cone says that Hurricane Francine will finally make its way through Louisiana, where it’s expected to hit land, and then through Arkansas, if it gets strong enough to be called a hurricane. Next up is Missouri.

Keep in mind that when Hurricane Francine’s leftovers reach Missouri, they will only be a tropical depression. However, that should bring much-needed rain to Missouri at least.

The National Weather Service even talks about the storm that is expected when they talk about the chance of rain at the end of the week.

It happens all the time that a storm hits Missouri. Does it seem possible that a storm could be so strong that it would stay a hurricane this far north? It’s not likely to happen, and I don’t want to be there when it does.
