Melania Trump apparently had little enthusiasm for a life in the United States when she was young. Jure Zorc, who previously dated Melania and highlighted her husband’s “demands” on her in a candid interview, spoke with ABC News about her objectives, indicating that Melania had her sights set on Europe for a fashion career rather than America.
“She planned to live abroad, in Italy or France, and pursue a career in fashion. “She was very fashionable,” Jure Zorc recalled, underlining that residing in the United States was not on her radar at the time.
Zorc reflected on their relationship, which lasted from 1991 to around 1996, and described their cinematic first meeting: “We met each other like in a movie,” he remarked. “I was riding my motorcycle, and she was strolling down the street. As I passed her, I had a moment to think, ‘Wow, who is this girl? “She is so beautiful, I must turn back and follow her.”
Zorc described his initial views, saying, “I was fascinated by her beauty from the start. She was elegantly dressed, and her demeanor was refined. She was tall and had long hair around her face; I could barely see her eyes – such style!”
Notably, Donald Trump has said that when he first saw Melania in September 1998, he was immediately struck by her attractiveness.
The billionaire, 52, was separated but not divorced when he met Melania, 28, in a New York nightclub. He was on a date with someone else, but he was instantly captivated to the Slovenian model.
In a 2005 interview with Larry King, the year he and Melania married, he admitted, “I went insane. I was originally supposed to meet someone else. There was a great supermodel sitting next to Melania. I was meant to meet the supermodel. They mentioned, ‘Look, there’s so and so.’ I said, “Forget about her.” Who is the person on the left? And it was Melania.
Melania had the same opinion, stating, “It was great chemistry and energy.” We had a wonderful experience. We started talking. And, you know, something was present right away.”
