Man dies after crashing into laundromat

In the evening of Wednesday, a pickup truck collided with a laundry in Carlton, resulting in the death of a man.

 

His identity has been revealed to be Adam Forsythe, who is 48 years old and resides in Grand Lake Township.

 

According to the Carlton County Sheriff’s Office, Forsyth was driving east on Highway 210 when his vehicle went off the road and collided with Carlton Laundry at 8:28 p.m.

 

Deputy sheriffs made attempts to save lives at the scene of the incident. It was determined that he had passed away at Community Memorial Hospital in Cloquet, where he was sent by the Cloquet Area Fire District Ambulance department.

 

Although there were people inside the laundromat at the time, nobody was wounded in the incident. According to a news release, Carlton Laundry “took a significant amount of damage.”

 

There is a possibility that impairment had a role, according to the Carlton County Sheriff’s Office. The collision is currently being looked into.
