Man Arrested for Having a Bomb in his Car Formally Charged

With regard to this particular case, formal charges are going to be brought against a man who was taken into custody the week before after a device was discovered in his vehicle.

On Tuesday of the previous week, law enforcement authorities in Golden City, Missouri, pulled over a vehicle that had tags that had expired.

An explosive device was found inside the vehicle, and rather than merely issuing a citation, they really discovered it.

In the case that officers found something in Terry Mitchell’s vehicle that was wrapped in duct tape, they questioned about the nature of the material they found.

Mitchell shared with us the information that it seemed to be a bomb. In an effort to render the device harmless, the Springfield Bomb Squad was sent to the place where it had the device.

Following the passage of some time, an x-ray would reveal that the object in question was, in fact, an explosive device.

Mitchell was taken into custody in order to face the charges that have been made against him, which include unlawful possession, transportation, manufacture, repair, or sale of an illegal weapon.

Mitchell was also given the opportunity to defend himself against these allegations. It is set for him to appear in court on Tuesday, October 1st, which is the following date.
