Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck seem to be in a never-ending loop of “Will they, won’t they?”, with recent claims indicating the 55-year-old pop diva has had “lingering doubts” about the divorce she finalized in August. Affleck and Lopez were previously married in July 2022.
According to supposed inside sources, Jennifer Lopez has allegedly remained at Ben Affleck’s new apartment after their divorce due to a sense of “hesitation” over their breakup.
Lopez and Affleck dated in the early 2000s and were known as “Bennifer” until their marriage in the summer of 2022.
“According to the first insider, Lopez, 55, and Affleck, 52, have been struggling with ‘lingering doubts’ and ‘hesitation’ over whether or not they’re making the right decision about their break up — especially when it comes to their family.”
JLo has spent a few nights at Ben’s apartment. When it’s good, it’s really good, but when it’s bad, it’s really bad — and things are so good when they are friends. If things are better between them now that they are apart, it is possible that the divorce will proceed.”
In addition to their family ties, Affleck and Lopez remain professionally connected, since Affleck’s production business Artists Equity has produced both of Lopez’s future projects.
The first of the two films, Unstoppable, debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival in September and will be available on Prime Video on January 16. Affleck did not attend the TIFF premiere on September 6, despite the fact that his closest friend and producing partner Matt Damon did.
The film, starring Jharrel Jerome, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Peña, and Don Cheadle, tells the story of Anthony Robles, an NCAA champion wrestler with one leg.
The second forthcoming Lopez film produced by Artists Equity is an adaptation of the 1990s Broadway play Kiss of the Spider Woman, which will also star Diego Luna.
“It’s certainly the most hard and gratifying position I’ve ever had. It’s about love, acceptance, and discovering beauty in the dark. “I think those themes are very relevant right now,” Lopez has said of the part.
