Iowa Weather Alert: Temperatures to Climb into the 80s Next Week

Des Moines, Iowa – The weather in Des Moines is going to be beautiful this weekend. Highs will reach the 70s, and nighttime lows will drop into the 40s. The day will be sunny, which will make it a great time for people to do things outside.

The next week will see a general rise in temperatures. The high on Monday will reach 78°F, and the high on Tuesday will be 84°F. For most of the week, temperatures will stay in the 80s and the sun will shine. Lows at night will go up, and temperatures will stay in the 50s and 60s all week.

 

In mid-September, people should expect warmer-than-usual weather. On Thursday, the high temperature could hit 87°F. Take time to enjoy the sun, but be ready for cool nights.
