Please be aware that on October 1st and 2nd, County Road B will be closed at the railroad crossing near the intersection with Badger Dr. so that new traffic lights can be turned on and tested.
There will be tests to make sure the signals are working right and that engineers can communicate with the railroad signals and handle the appropriate timing sequences.
It will be possible to still cross at Badger Dr. while this road is closed, but please be aware that it will be very busy and could be hard to see because the signs are being tested.
Parts of the NB and SB lanes will be open to traffic once all the tests are over and the traffic lights are working properly.
Over the next month, restoration work will keep going to finish the job. We’re sorry for any trouble this may cause, and we appreciate your patience and help.
If you have any questions, please call the Dunn County Highway Department.
Thanks for waiting while we work to make the roads safer.
Dustin Binder
Dunn County Highway Commissioner
