Jasper County, Missouri — Just before 3 p.m. Tuesday, E-911 received reports of a significant incident involving a rollover just south of Apple Road on Hwy 59 near Fidelity, Mo.
Carthage Fire, Jasper County Deputies, and Mercy Ambulance responded. Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified.
When we arrived on the site, we discovered two vehicles, one of which had overturned west of the highway. The second ended up in a parking lot to the west.
An unknown number of persons were taken to surrounding hospitals. We expect an update from Troopers.
Jasper County Coroner James Harrison informs KOAM’s Shannon Becker on the scene that next of kin have been notified. The collision killed an adult male, Tou Xiong, 35, of Sarcoxie, Missouri.
Crash information reveals the driver of the overturned Hummer, Jennifer Maupin, 43, of Grove, Okla., was cited and ordered to appear in court.

She was arrested and then freed to seek medical attention. Her first court appearance is unknown.
Troopers noted the crash for investigation.
M&M Wrecker and Comer’s Wrecker were sent in to remove the crashed vehicles and debris.
