Hannaford Has A Recall On These Salads, Pasta Dishes

Hannaford has recalled some of their fresh salads and pasta meals because they might have listeria on them.

Hannaford Says 7 Products Are Included in the Recall

Even though no one has been sick or hurt, Hannaford has decided to take out some of their salads and pasta dishes from their produce and deli areas for now. Officials at the company made the choice after getting notice from the product’s maker that it might be contaminated with listeria.

The recalled products, sold between September 23 to October 1, 2024, include:

  • Fiesta Salad with Chicken – UPC: 03022307123
  • Cobb Salad with Chicken and Bacon – UPC: 03022307124
  • Caesar Salad with Chicken – UPC: 03022307126
  • Caesar Salad with Chicken and Bacon – UPC: 03022307127
  • BLT Salad with Chicken – UPC: 03022307128
  • Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken – UPC: 03022307024
  • Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken Family Meal – UPC: 0302207029

Products Included in the Recall Can Be Returned to Hannaford

People who think they may have bought one or more of these things should check their freezers and other storage spaces. Hannaford officials say that if people find any of the items on this list, they shouldn’t eat them and should take them back to their local Hannaford shop to get a full refund. All of the affected items have been taken off the shelves.

Listeria is a Bacteria That Causes a Number of Symptoms

There is a range of times between a few hours and three days after eating a food item that has listeriosis that the symptoms can show up.

Mild symptoms include:

  • Fever
  • Muscle Aches
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea

If the more sever form of listeriosis develops, symptoms can include:

  • Headache
  • Stiff neck
  • Confusion
  • Loss of balance
  • Convulsions

If someone starts to show signs and thinks they may have been exposed, they should call their doctor.
