On Saturday, October 26th, about 5:45 p.m., the Galena Police Department responded to a report of a death at 321 Clark Street. When authorities arrived, they located an unresponsive individual, subsequently identified as Stacy Miner, 50, of Carthage, Missouri. The coroner declared Ms. Miner dead on the scene.
The cause of death is presently being investigated, although preliminary results show no evidence of foul play. Next of kin has been contacted.
