Find spooky fun at Girl Scouts' Hallo weekend Fall Festival

Join the Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois (GSEIWI) at their annual Hallo weekend Autumn Festival to get into the holiday mood.

The Hallo weekend Autumn Festival takes place at Camp Liberty, 4415 295th Street in New Liberty, on Saturday, 19 October from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Families with kids of all ages are welcome to enjoy the camp as it turns into a scary forest with events and games like.

• Taking a hayrack ride around the property

• Catapulting pumpkins

• Creating potions and dragon eggs

• Climbing through the spider’s trail

• Exploring the laser tag maze

• Tent-n-treating throughout the camp

People who want to do camp activities for kids can buy extra tickets. For example, they can climb the wall, ride the zip line, shoot archery targets and ride ponies around the field. There will be food trucks there to keep people happy and energised.

To sign up ahead of time, click here. Walk-in tickets cost $10 each, and passes bought ahead of time cost $5 each. To ask a question, call the Girl Scouts at (563) 823-9940.
