Homelessness is a widespread issue in Maine. While homeless individuals have a prominent presence in larger towns and cities, they are more hidden in smaller communities, with some living in automobiles or couch surfing with friends and family.
If, like me, you’ve ever wondered what this is about, why it’s happening now, and who these individuals are, come see the film “Building Hope: Ending Homelessness” to receive one take on the situation, and then stay for a panel discussion to hear other perspectives.
