Eighth ranked Cardinals dominate Clear Lake, Turtle Lake on deck

Wisconsin’s Spring Valley – Located on the site of the former iron smelter, the Spring Valley football field is the location of the field.

As a result of the layoff, there may have been some fear that there was some rust owing to the fact that the team had a week off because of a forfeit victory over Colfax.

In the event that there was, the Cardinals quickly shook off any lingering rust and promptly got to work.

The final outcome was a 33-0 victory over Clear Lake, which improved their record to 2-0 in conference play and 4-0 overall.

The Clear Lake team was completely dominated from the beginning to the end of the game.

The combination of that record and the caliber of play that they have demonstrated has led to them being ranked eighth in Division 7 of the National Football League.

A quick-strike touchdown pass from senior Cade Stasiek to senior tight end Caleb Bartko was the first touchdown scored by the Cardinals.

This came after the Cardinals had stopped the Warriors’ first drive with a touchdown pass of 31 yards.

With 5 minutes and 22 seconds remaining in the first quarter, sophomore Isaac Koenig kicked the extra point, giving his team a 7-0 lead.
