A group of teenagers allegedly robbed a boy on Long Island, taking his jacket and iPhone before leaving, according to authorities.
On Wednesday, November 27, shortly after 9 p.m., an incident happened near the intersection of Fulton Avenue and Moore Avenue in Oceanside.
According to detectives, the child was approached by around eight teenagers who violently seized his jacket, which held an iPhone 15. The group pursued him down Lawson Boulevard before departing in an unknown direction.
Officers later found the stolen phone along Messick Avenue. There were no injuries recorded.
Suspects were described as:
- Two white boys,
- Three Black boys, and
- Three Hispanic boys,
- All wearing black clothing and standing about 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10.
