Clever’s police chief has been charged in connection with a domestic incident that occurred this week.
According to court records, Michael Evans, 49, has been charged with second-degree domestic assault.
According to the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, around 10 p.m. on November 7, deputies responded to a disturbance in the 3700 block of W. Wilderness Street.
The City of Clever Police Department Clerk confirmed to KY3 that Evans is the chief. Evans is in the Greene County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
