A three-vehicle collision that occurred at 3:40 p.m. on Sunday on Highway HH three miles west of Carthage resulted in the injuries of two individuals.
Carthage resident Rachele J. Lord, 59, was driving a Chevrolet Silverado from 2005 when she crossed the centre line and collided head-on with a Chrysler Pacifica from 2024 driven by Joplin resident Christina M. Dumas, 32. The report from the Highway Patrol states that the collision occurred.
In the meantime, the vehicle driven by Dumas went off the south side of the route, and the vehicle piloted by Lord collided head-on with a Cadillac SRX driven by Harlan E. Lancaster, Jr., who was 59 years old and from Webb City.”
At Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, both Lord and Lancaster received treatment for moderate injuries during their stay.
