EMS personnel and the New York Police Department arrived at the site, and according to the police, they took the youngster to Harlem Hospital.

According to the reports, the medical staff at the hospital discovered that the boy had a burn mark on his chest, that he was very emaciated, and that he suffered from hypothermia.

in an early hour on Monday morning, the boy passed away in the hospital.

After being taken into custody, his mother was transported to the 32nd Precinct in Harlem, where she was subsequently charged with criminally negligent homicide and endangering the welfare of a child during the subsequent investigation.

It has been reported by the New York Police Department that there have been previous “domestic incident reports” at the apartment where the youngster was discovered; however, it is not clear what those reports involved.

It was reported by the police that the boy had three siblings who were younger than eight years old; however, it did not appear that any of them were at home when their brother was taken to the hospital.
