A senseless fight over a cellphone killed a 36-year-old man on a Bronx street on Christmas Eve, according to officials and surveillance footage.
Arkmayer Davis, 30, was fatally stabbed after arguing with his assailant over a cell phone at the Kleen Panda Laundromat near East Tremont Avenue and Morris Avenue in Mount Hope around 11:43 a.m., according to video obtained by The Post.
“Give me my phone, brother! “Give me my phone,” the suspected attacker yells repeatedly at Davis.
Davis, dressed in a dark jacket and hoodie, then tosses the phone on a table before the man takes it away.
“Go away from me! Shut the fuck up, brother! “I don’t want to be around you anymore,” the enraged suspect screams at Davis before storming out.
Davis was later discovered outside the laundromat, covered in blood with stab wounds to his chest, legs, and arms.
Medical personnel rushed him to Saint Barnabas Hospital, but he could not be saved.
Davis lived just a few steps from where he was murdered.
His attacker has yet to be apprehended.
