After Jennifer Lopez finalized her divorce from Ben Affleck, an insider dropped claims about how she is feeling

In recent years, there has been renewed interest in Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s relationship. Years after calling off their first engagement, the couple rekindled their romance in 2021, before marrying in the ever-popular Vegas in 2022.

However, following a flurry of rumors about the relationship, Lopez filed for divorce in August 2024. The A-listers recently finalized their divorce, officially ending their two-year marriage. Now, an insider is speaking out about how the singer is feeling in the aftermath.

Earlier this week, it was reported that the two stars had finalized their divorce. That development came just weeks after it was reported that the legal process had stalled due to the two parties’ alleged inability to reach an agreement in some areas.

More recently, an insider told People about some alleged details about the 55-year-old “Jenny from the Block” star’s life after her latest marriage ended. According to the source, the Atlas star’s alleged mental state is as follows:

The fairy tale she was promised turned out to be a nightmare in the end. She’s in a really good place and just wants to close the door on this crazy chapter.

JLo has been married four times: first to Ojani Noa from 1997 to 1998, and then to Chris Judd from 2001 to 2003, before marrying Marc Antony from Marc Anthony.

The claims made by the trade’s source should be taken with a grain of salt for the time being, though there may be reason to believe that the multihyphenate is in good standing.

She recently shared an upbeat end-of-year video that was full of photos and videos (but made no mention of the Argo director).

After deciding to divorce, Jennifer Lopez filed in an unusual manner. She did so in Los Angeles without a lawyer and without a prenuptial agreement.

Aside from that, she requested that the attorney’s fees be split and that neither she nor her ex pay any future spousal support. (According to reports, the latter request was indeed approved.). She and Ben Affleck have also been looking to sell the Beverly Hills mansion they bought together, which cost $68 million.

The Mother actress hasn’t spoken much about her relationship in recent months. She did, however, speak out about the online harassment she received following reports of her and the Oscar winner’s split.

JLo, on the other hand, stated that she would not dwell on the negative aspects of her life, remembering that she is a “good person.”

Ben Affleck, for his part, is reportedly doing well right now. He recently kicked off 2025 in a sweet way by spending time with his 12-year-old son, Samuel.

Given that the divorce is final, he and Jennifer Lopez may not feel the need to discuss it. As a result, both of them (along with their families) are now free to pursue their own paths.

Anyone hoping to see more of the two former spouses on their screens should take a look at the 2025 movie schedule . Both actors have some productions slated for release.
