Ellsworth, Wisconsin – Authorities in Wisconsin say one man was arrested after many vehicles were reported damaged over the weekend.
According to an Ellsworth Police Department press release, officers and Pierce County Sheriff’s Office deputies received reports over the weekend that many cars had been damaged after being hit by an object.
Officials say they investigated the reports of damaged automobiles, identified a suspect, and seized the object that caused the damage.
Initially, there were claims of someone shooting at the vehicles; however, police say no firearms were used in these occurrences, and there is no immediate danger to the community.
Ellsworth officers arrested Ellsworth resident Jeffrey Baker on Monday at 5:15 p.m. on charges linked to the damaged automobiles.
An investigation into these crimes is ongoing, and anybody who may have been a victim is encouraged to contact the Ellsworth Police Department or the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office.
