A pedestrian was critically injured Monday night when a car struck them on Broadway in Bangor.
The pedestrian, whose name has not been revealed, was crossing Broadway near Center Street and Earle Avenue around 8 p.m. when they were hit by a northbound car, according to Sgt. Jason McAmbley, a Bangor Police Department spokesperson.
McAmbley stated on Tuesday morning that the light was green for northbound traffic, that the pedestrian was not in a crosswalk, was dressed in dark apparel, and was wearing headphones at the time.
