A man has been sentenced for his involvement in a crime spree that included thefts, break-ins, and property damage in Burnett County

BURNETT COUNTY – The Burnett County Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation into a series of break-ins, burglaries, and thefts that occurred in 2023.

Three people were charged: James J. Pijanowski, Jr. (age 30, of Danbury, WI), Christine M. Stoll (age 31, of Webster, WI), and Milo C. Merrill, Jr. (age 40).

The three persons were the subject of numerous criminal complaints filed in Burnett County Circuit Court. The charges against Merrill were ultimately dropped following a motion by the Burnett County District Attorney.

Stoll was sentenced for her offences at a hearing on September 5, 2024.

Pijanowski has been sentenced as well.
