A crash has temporarily closed a stretch of I-94 in western Wisconsin

ROBERTS, Wisconsin — A crash has caused traffic to become backed up on a major interstate in western Wisconsin on Tuesday morning.

According to Wisconsin transportation officials, the incident occurred on Interstate 94’s westbound lanes, blocking the lanes beyond the County T exit in the Roberts area.

As of 7:45 a.m., traffic cameras show that the crash has been cleared and traffic is moving again, albeit slowly.

It is uncertain if the crash resulted in injuries.

Roberts is located at the Minnesota-Wisconsin border, slightly east of Hudson.
