Baldwin man faces charges for allegedly pretending to be police enforcement at an Oceanside polling station

A Baldwin man is being charged with fraudulently claiming to be a law enforcement agent during an argument at an Oceanside voting booth.
Officers say they responded to the situation at Oaks Elementary School on Tuesday afternoon.

Police said Mark Sebesta, a poll worker, was arguing with a 25-year-old male.

According to News 12, the 54-year-old became belligerent before being detained and hospitalized.

Nobody else was wounded.

Sebesta is facing intimidating and harassment charges.

Sebesta says he was a victim and intends to sue police.

He has pled not guilty to the accusations he faces.
