JOPLIN, Missouri — Just before 9 a.m. Tuesday, reports of a t-bone crash at East 43rd and Rangeline Road alerted Joplin. E-911.
Joplin Fire, Joplin Police, and Newton County Ambulance responded.
A JPD Traffic Officer on the scene reports that a yellow car was heading east on 43rd St from the Rangeline Road stop sign. Before heading north, you must first cross two lanes of traffic.
The first lane had a long line of cars with an opening, while the second lane was hidden from view by a minivan driving south. It t-boned the automobile, which went off the road and came to a stop on the west side of Rangeline.
The driver of the car was speaking with EMS when he was transported to a nearby hospital with significant injuries. The driver of the minivan was not wounded.
Nixon’s Towing and Comer’s Wreckers removed the automobiles and debris from the accident site.
