A former funeral home owner in the Katahdin region has been charged by a Penobscot County Grand Jury.
Harold “Chip” Lamson, 53, has been charged with 14 counts of theft by unauthorized taking.
Lamson was arrested last May and charged with two counts of felony theft.
East Millinocket Police arrested Lamson in September for breaking his bail conditions and assault.
Some allegations against Lamson include concerns with mortuary trusts, shortcomings in funeral services, and a failure to interact with families.
Lamson was the owner of Lamson Funeral Home, which had locations in Lincoln, Millinocket, East Millinocket, and Danforth.
