On Thursday, the Diamond volleyball team won their home court match against Stockton by a score of 3-0. The match took place in Diamond, Missouri.
The Wildcats would hang on for the first two sets, which they won 25-20 and 25-17 respectively.
Stockton would put up a fight in the third set, but the Wildcats would hold on with the victory.
During the early phases of the battle, both Aubrey Ball and Lauren Turner were credited with killing another player respectively.
Diamond had a score of 6-0 and was attempting to take the lead, but Stockton remained steadfast and managed to come back and take the lead.
Despite the fact that the Tigers were able to draw even with the Wildcats, Stockton’s Sarah Taylor handed her team a 7-6 edge in the overall score.
The Tigers were getting momentum that was working in their advantage, but Diamond fought back and won the third set 25-18. This was despite the fact that the Tigers were gaining momentum.
After that, Diamond will travel to Lamar to take part in the Lamar Tigers Classic on Saturday, September 21, while Stockton will be attending the Buffalo Lady Bison invitational. Both of these events will take place on the same day.
